Tasks is made by a small team, and we read everything that comes in. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, this page is how you reach us — by email, or from inside the app. You do not need an account to get help.

Contact us

The most direct way to reach us is email. Write to [email protected] with your question or the problem you are seeing, and we will help. It is the same address for everything — bugs, questions, account requests, and privacy matters — so you never have to work out who to ask.

We aim to respond within one month, the window set out in our Privacy Policy.

Tasks is operated by Merieu Private Limited, the company behind the Foways brand.

What to include

A few details help us find and fix a problem faster. When you report a bug, it helps to tell us:

  • the device and operating-system version you are on — for example, iPhone 15 on iOS 18, a Pixel on Android 15, or Chrome on Windows 11;
  • what you expected to happen;
  • what happened instead;
  • the steps to reproduce it, so we can see the same thing you did.

A screenshot, if you have one, often turns a puzzling report into an obvious fix. You can attach one to an email, or to a post on the in-app board below.

The in-app Support board

If you are signed in, the richer way to get help is the built-in Support board. It is a shared space, not a private form: you can report a bug, request a feature, or ask a question, see what others have already raised, add your vote, and watch each post move through a public status — Open, Planned, In progress, Done. Replies from us carry a small Team badge, and any screenshots you attach stay private to you and the team.

It is never more than a tap or a keystroke away:

  • the Support entry at the bottom of the sidebar on desktop;
  • g then s on the keyboard, which jumps straight to it;
  • a left swipe on mobile — anywhere except on a task — which opens the composer.

For a closer look at how it works, read the Support and feedback guide.

Reporting content and blocking users

Because the Support board is shared, we hold it to a clear standard: no harassment or bullying, hate speech, threats or violence, sexual content, spam, or impersonation. If a post or reply crosses that line, you can act on it yourself, right where you see it.

  • Report a post or reply from the “…” menu on that content — it flags the content for our review.
  • Block a user from the same “…” menu, and you will stop seeing their posts and replies.

We review reports and remove anything that breaks these rules, and may suspend or terminate the accounts responsible — usually within 24 hours. For an urgent concern, email [email protected] and we will look right away.

Common questions

How do I delete my account and all my data? In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account in the Danger zone (under Account on the web). You are asked to confirm twice; then the projects you own and everything inside them, your day notes, your Support posts, and the files you uploaded are erased, your sign-in credentials are removed, and you are taken out of any shared projects. This cannot be undone. Our Privacy Policy explains retention and deletion in full.

Can I export my data? There is no one-tap export in the app yet. If you would like a portable copy of your data, email [email protected] and we will put one together for you — data portability is a right we honour under our Privacy Policy.

How do I turn analytics and crash reporting off? They are off by default — nothing is collected until you opt in, and you can leave it off. To check or change it, open Settings: on iPhone and Android it is under Privacy; on the web it is under Appearance → Usage data. Switching it off stops any further usage and crash data from being sent.
