Settings, account & Bin

Settings is where you tend to the account itself — your name, your password, what shows in the sidebar, and the sample content you started with. It’s also home to the Bin, the safety net that makes every deletion in the app reversible.

The Settings tabs

Open Settings from your profile row (or ⌘,on desktop). It’s organized into a handful of tabs:

Edit your display name, see the email you signed up with, and Change password. A Danger zone holds Delete account— a two-step confirmation, because it’s permanent and irreversible.
Appearance
Theme, density, time zone, and the opt-in Usage data toggle. The theme and density options have their own page — Appearance & themes.
Sidebar
Toggle which smart-view rowsappear — hide the views you don’t use so the sidebar shows only what matters to you.
Projects
Every project you’re in, with your role in each (Owner, Editor, or Viewer).
Onboarding
Load the sample content to explore with, or removeit once you’ve found your feet.

The Bin

Deletion in Tasks is never a cliff edge. Every delete — a task, a list, a whole project — routes to the Bin first, with an Undo toast in the moment. The Bin is cross-workspace: one place that gathers everything you’ve removed, split into Projects, Lists, and Tasks sections.

Bin

Deleted items are kept here until you empty the Bin.

The Bin, grouped by type. Restore an item, or empty the Bin for good.
  1. 1
Delete anything — it lands in the Bin, and an Undo toast lets you take it straight back.
  2. 2
Missed the toast? Open the Bin and Restore the item from its section whenever you like.
  3. 3
Empty bin is the one permanent action — it clears everything for good. Until you do, nothing is truly gone.
