Together
Sharing & roles
A project is the unit you share. Invite people by email or hand out a join link, then decide what each person can do. There’s nothing to upgrade to — every collaboration feature is free at every team size.
The Share & members modal
Open Shareon any project you own to manage everyone at once: who’s in, what they can do, who’s been invited but hasn’t joined, and the join link. Only the owner sees the inviting controls.

Inviting by email
Type someone’s email and send. They appear under Pending invites until they accept — and you can Revoke a pending invite at any time. The same pending invite also shows up as a card in the Feed, so it’s easy to spot and act on.
The join link
Prefer a link to typing addresses? As the owner, Create a join link, Copy it into a chat or email, and Revoke it whenever you want — revoking instantly stops the link from working without touching anyone already in.
- 1Someone who’s signed out clicks the link and sees a clean previewof the project — enough to know what they’re joining.
- 2They sign up (or sign in), and they’re added to the project automatically — no second approval step.
- 3New joiners land as Editorsby default; change anyone’s role from the member list afterward.
Roles
Three roles, in order of capability. A person’s role is set per project, so someone can own one project and merely view another.
- Viewer
- Read-only. Sees every list, task, comment, and file in the project but can’t change anything. Good for stakeholders who want visibility without the risk of nudging something.
- Editor
- Edits content freely — create and complete tasks, comment, attach files, reorder, move between the project’s lists. An editor cannot manage sharing or roles.
- Owner
- Everything an editor can do, plus sharing: invite and remove people, manage the join link, change roles, and Transfer ownership to someone else. The owner can also Remove any member.
Collaboration is never paywalled
This is the part most task managers get wrong, and the part we’re most deliberate about: there is no team tier. Inviting people, the join link, roles, assignees, comments, files, and the shared Feed are all free — whether your project has two people or twenty. Sharing is a feature of the product, not a lever to upsell you.
